In the process of simplifying the system, mainly for my wife's benefit, this has to go.
I had it for sale earlier this year, but it didn't work out, so here it is again. It fed a Parasound A21, also for sale, like my Benchmark DAC3 HGC.
It is the cleanest sounding pre* I have ever had. It adds nothing, but also takes nothing away either. In fact it's hard to characterise it, as it seems to have no character of its own! Being an AVC**, it helps with impedance matching between components, unlike resistor passives.
It's definitely not romantic, or rose tinted like some valve preamps, and with the Benchmark DAC3 it is just honest. The Accuphase DP-410 CDP and E-480 integrated I now have are a different type of sound altogether.
Here is a typical review. https://www.hifipig.com/townshend-allegri-passive-preamplifier/
I am asking £1200, posted, or collect from Plymouth. It has its own polystyrene box, and will be packed in a strong cardboard outer box.

* Not really a preamp, as it doesn't amplify. For most modern sources and power amps it doesn't need to. YMMV, of course.
**AVC = Autoformer Volume Control; like a transformer, but only one winding.

Highly regarded piece of kit.
Some of us have used TVC (well, its like a TVC, only more so..) pres/buffer stages and like them.

Good luck with the sale Dickie.
