I could probably think up a very long list if i thought about it for more than 30 seconds, but a couple of songs that i've recently listened to that always put me in a positive frame of mind, regardless of mood, are

Don't have a particular song, seem to do whole albums rather than individual songs but whenever I'm down I always find Miles Davis' A Kind of Blue or Coltrane's A love Supreme always pick me up and put a smile on my face.

I also find listening to some arias sung by the lovely Ms Bartoli always makes me happy as well.

My list was a rather 'tongue in cheek' one....

I am glad to say I don't own any of those songs. I do have a soft spot for the Foreigner one though (and power ballads in general)
