Wam passwords leaked?

A user on mavericks is saying that they have had a notification a few days ago that their password has been found in a data leak from this site. Either they have been breached or there is some last minute monetisation going on. Posting here because it seems to be the most read forum.

If you use a password here that is used elsewhere then change it everywhere.

I use unique, complex passwords, but thanks for the heads up.

It's now tne end of the line for me on here. I've deleted all conversations, data that I could, etc, inc my Avatar.

Any future posts or ads on here purportedly by me will be fraudulent. Those who want me know where I am.

It's a very great shame that after almost 18 years it has come to this.

It has just occurred to me, is the "Oops..." a password harvesting mechanism? By forcing you to login every time they always have the up to data password.
