Original packaging preferred because they will probably need shipping to near Dudley.

I've been looking for a while now and they seem to be peculiarly difficult to get hold of.

Yeah I've seen those plus models. Definitely after the i version instead: the tweeter is just superb. 
The French pair look great but I'd much rather buy second hand, so the search continues......

The Gold version are identical in spec, barring the visual appearance. This could open up more chance for you to grab some.

Thanks for the thought - I've considered the floorstanders but it's the larger bass driver I'm after in the bookshelf variety: more presence than the DB1i without an overload of bass.

Its just that the TB2i's are so hard to find. Clearly people like them enough to cling onto them!
