Montreux on BBC4 iPlayer. An absolutely fascinating 3 part documentary centred around Funky Claud Nobs as mentioned in the Deep Purple classic Smoke on the Water. You don't have to be a lover of jazz to watch this as all different genres of music are featured. A truly brilliant documentary.

Just started watching 'The Witcher' after seeing a third series is now available I thought 3 series would occupy me for a while.

I have to say 3 episodes in & the setting the scene period is making it a bit slow & uninspiring I will stick with it for a few more episodes and pull the plug if it does'nt improve.

I have just started watching "Red Dwarf" as they have put the whole series on iPlayer I missed quite a few previously so now I'm putting that right

It is still laugh out loud funny even the ones I've watched before & the cat is such a cool dancer in the begining

I've just watched the 7 part Oppenheimer series on BBC iPlayer from 1980. I must confess I don't recall this show from that time but so glad I've watched it now. I thought it was superb and the acting top notch. Sam Waterson as Oppenheimer was just the perfect choice. It looks like a 1980 production and appears to have been made on a budget of about £100. However the story and script are so strong you forget all about anything else.

The Ipcress File (remake), stars someone called Holt. ITV Series 1.
Rather good, and better than the original overall, though honours even Caine v. Holt.

Just on the third of eight episodes of the second series of "Wheel of Time" which is on Amazon Prime.

I like anything like this kind science fantasy & the like it's very good and well produced worth a watch.

Thoroughly recommended, if you havent already seen it.

Gary Oldman is a true star.

Anyone a fan of Ricky Gervais? If you are, you'll love his new show - Armageddon; currently on Netflix and possibly elsewhere. Absolutely on top form. If you're not a fan, don't watch the clip!
