Good grief.

Nowt wrong with it, I guess maybe it's just that if you don't want a viewfinder, there are another 30 cameras you might consider. Fuji buyers tend to like the retro thing???

That makes it £100 cheaper than the same kit refurb on the Fuji site. Bargain of the old year?

It is a bargain for a good camera but personally no viewfinder rules it out for me.

I absolutely love mine and for that price you can't go wrong. I paid that for a used one without the lens here!

I bought one last week and it's giving my Canon 5DII a very close race in some departments.

I would highly recommend one of these X-M1's as its a great camera capable of some outstanding images with little or no understanding of photography but will reward you if you have any sort of any eye for a picture

Hmmm, just been having a look at some of the forums at DPReview, and it seems that there might be a bit of financial trouble over at Fuji, which would be a great shame if thats the case, as theyre clearly super products...

Apparently the same is true for the 4/3 manufacturers also...

Now that is seriously tempting, where does the X-M1 fit into the fuji hierarchy, is it below the x10/100?

damn amazon are sold out or the black ones :(

Well the Fuji does look sharper, but then I'm not sure having such a file size difference is significant ?

If you need an exchangeable lens camera, than at that price its a no brainer imo...

That is about what I would expect: the image does not have a large tonal range and for a few years now the difference between FF and APS-C has been small in all but extreme cases (printing very large, lowlight/high ISO or needing wide dynamic range). This was one of the reasons I was happy buying the 7D instead of jumping up to FF where the AF ability overrode the difference in IQ for the purposes I needed the camera. But whereas the 7D is still £800+, to get that in a camera at £300 is bloody stupid money - nowadays you need a very (VERY!) good reason to go FF.
