This forum needs some Yvonne Gall, here paired with the legendary Agustarello Affre on Gounod's Romeo and Juliette (1912). Gall was so young when this was recorded that her voice becomes noticeably stronger and more confident as the opera progresses. Nevertheless, this is one of the great singers of the golden age, nothing comes close nowadays.
