❤️ Copland CTA 402 valve amplifier

Up for sale is my Copland CTA 402 valve class a/b amplifier pushing out 35w and current a plenty. 
Why is it for sale? I have too many amps and I just don’t need it as I have Sugden and Copland pre and power. If I didn’t, it wouldn’t be going anywhere but someone needs to make this amp the centrepiece of their system. 
Highlights are a great MM phonostage which is as good as my Sugden PA-4 mm stage, the amp has wonderful clarity and depth with imagery and solid tuneful bass. Glorious! The Equivalent Copland today is 6k.

Recently checked over and has been re valved to spec although you can roll if you wish. 
Generally the amp is in fantastic condition with a few marks to top which I’ve tried to show. 
Comes in at 28kg, I have a box (not original) but I’d rather it be collected before I move. 
ive seen only three of these for sale in the last year and one recently went for over £1200 but I am asking £899. This amp would pretty much clean up anything like it for not a lot of money. 
The amp has been run on my Harbeths but friend had a play with it on his Reference Tannoys and loved it. He has since purchased another similar Copland.

Just to point out that there is no remote. This was an option apparently when new! They are available via Absolute sounds but it will only do volume. I never got round to getting one with everything else going on. I have to get up to change the record so why not do volume at the same time

Never got as far as the cost, only as to say they could get them but knowing absolute sounds, £1000? no seriously, they are not a lot apparently but I don’t feel the need is there but any Copland remote will operate it.

No I didn’t upgrade them in the end I made an offer but it wasn’t accepted.
I will consolidate what I have over time and that will give me more options. Shame I missed out on the Copland, it’s a beautiful amp.
