Hi all

Are there suggestions for good and accesible active (non linn) speakers (with built in amps) in combination with my trusty wakonda in a secondary system (as a replacement for lk240 and passive speakers)

thanks in advance

Not something I’ve ever listened to, but a quick Google suggests there’s a huge choice out there, so an idea of budget might get you some suggestions. Many speakers are WiFi or Bluetooth, so you’ll need to look for something with analogue RCA inputs.

There are Audioengine and Ruark models in the £250 to £350 range, for a start.

A pair of JBL 308P Mk. 1 would be the best solution musically. The Mk. 2's aren't as musical, but easier to find (you can buy them new for around € 400,-/pair)

Just seen that Q Acoustics have a small active, the M20, based on the 3020i (of which I’m a fan) for under £400.
