What to do when it’s a jubilee bank holiday and you’re a bit of a curmudgeon. Well, I suppose sorting out some hifi units which deserve to be enjoyed by someone else could be the answer
I just upgrading from this DAC, which has been great. It’s the mark 1 version of the La Voce without XLR outputs but still with an optical input.
Works perfectly and just the odd slight scuff on the back.
Sounds great and has the the added benefit of being able to change DAC module from Burr Brown PCM1704k & Phillips TDA1541. Easy to change just unscrew a few nuts and lift the DAC module out.
I also have an additional TDA1541 R1 chip.
Great reviews of this unit here:

Not quite sure how to price this DAC as the S2 sell for around £1400 but this is obviously the older version.
I think £600 (excl postage) sounds about right as it would give someone an easy in to exploring the Aqua sound.
I do not have the original box but it will be well packaged. I am in Liverpool and could meet local-ish.
Cheers, Simon
