Selling this NAIM ND5XS2 compact streamer. Recently acquired for a second system which I've now been informed isn't happening, so selling in the cause of marital harmony and recovering some of my investment. Unit was bought from Hifi-Corner in Edinburgh via eBay. In perfect condition with box and all accessories.
I've been doing an A/B against my main digital front end - DCS network Bridge / Debussy, at approx. 5x the cost, all I can say is it's a very close match. The DCS has a little more resolution, a little more space between instruments, and slightly less excitement (the DCS Ring DAC is sometimes called boring). The NAIM is superb in every way at the list price (£2499) and an absolute bargain here!
