DCS DAC and Network Bridge

Selling my DCS setup as I am going back to a NAIM digital source. can be collected from Blackheath SE London, or posted.

Asking £2,750 for the NB and £3,250 for the DAC or £5,700 for both.

DCS Network Bridge (Black) - £2,750

This is possibly the best network bridge out there, and was built as a standalone unit by DCS to support their (and other) standalone DACs. Can be used with DCSs Mosaic App or with Spotify and Tidal Connect (with MQA) or as a ROON end point to name a few. I used it to feed a DCS Debussy . In perfect condition with latest firmware, complete with all boxes and manuals.Picture below, please note the case is is perfect condition, the photo's picked up a few particles of dust. I am the second owner from new.

DCS Debussy DAC (silver) - £3250 £2,950

Stunning DAC using DCS's ring-DAC technology. Multiple input options and build in volume control so can be used directly into a power amp (I used the balanced out into ARC Ref 75). In great condition with latest firmware, complete packing boxes and manuals.Picture below. Has the chunky metal DCS remote (some of these units had a cheaper remote I believe). Last one I saw on eBay went for £4,000 so have priced appropriately for the WAM.

Hmmm, interesting!
I run Bartok2.....thought about Naim myself...
Any outstanding reasons for shift away from dCS?
Be well,
Sean

Very interesting. I have the new NAIM 222 on order. I've always loved NAIM digital sources. I find DCS more accurate, and NAIM more engaging, and the 222 has taken my engagement to a new level :)

Pretty sure that I saw a wanted ad for a DCS Bridge on here somewhere.

That was probably mine. I was looking for a Network Bridge for my newly acquired Scarlatti stack, and was hoping to secure one for around £2k.

As it happens, I've ended up with a streaming solution that I'm very happy with... for considerably less.

Mani.

worth knowing as it has a remote

Debussy DAC features standard AES3, Dual AES and S/PDIF inputs in addition to the USB 2.0 interface. The digital volume control allows direct connection to a power amplifier, in most cases removing the need for a preamplifier. Maximum output can be either two or six volts to suit different amplifier and loudspeaker combinations. Two filters are provided, offering listeners the choice of linear phase with pre-ringing or non-linear phase without pre-ringing.
