With everything going on with move, I had completely forgotten what I was going to pack the vinyl in Anyway, boxes are never the right size and often too heavy once packed so looked at cases.. well it would have cost hundreds of £ which is crazy compared to the old days so searching the web, found these... pack of 4 takes 144 records and they don’t bend them (assuming you don’t overload) £20 so ordered a few sets.. today I realised I hadn’t ordered enough

Great for moving and great for going to those bake-offs and the wam show

No problem sir. Dead handy these are. A normal 80 case is about £44 and as much as that would be the ‘preferred’ option, it would cost too much for the amount or records

Also wine boxes are the perfect size for LPs and when full are not heavy. But not all removal forms have them.

An average wine box can take 100 lps and in my condition, that’s heavy

All my vinyl went in cardboard boxes, the removal company saw my collection, and supplied suitable boxes for them, @ around 100 records per box.

We are doing the move ourselves in a 7.5 t lorry... £400 for three days. Most quotes for a decent removal company are around 3k for the distance.. think how many records I could buy with that saving

At least with the house move savings you can then buy a decent amp 

You are mad to be moving yourself especially if you struggle to lift a box withy 100 records.  Hopefully your new lady used to do field athletics or power lifting....
