Office Systems

I am lucky enough to have an office to myself for 2-3 hours a day and sometimes longer. Over the past few months I have been putting a system together to use eventually in a listening room in the house I and my girlfreind intend to buy soon. Until then it resides in a cupboard, but it isn't idle!

So far it consists of a Sony CDP X3000ES, Cambridge Audio 840A and B&W 705's. I only really have the speaker stands left to get. Any other office systems out there?

Its an alba micro system to fill the warehouse and office area - it struggles

Out front its a bush ghettoblaster. Equally dire.

A 70's Sony seperates system driving some 70's technics horn speakers

Gets alot of abuse but handles it better thanthe pink alba micro they blew up !!!

Have a separate PC in the office for t'internet use only so bunged in an X-Fi music card and Creative Megaworks 250D 2.1 speakers. Put about 40 or 50 CD's on the hard drive from home and its quite a pleasant sound.

We are very fortunate here, our office system is Wadia/Belcanto/Meadowlark plus a 3/4 terrabyte HDD slave feeding a coherent sb3 into the wadia.

The workshop system is very odd though, Toshiba 350 dvd transport/ nos dac/b/c 300i and a pair of Heron's a very tail happy combo

I'm in a van all day and have a shite stereo which needs tuning in every time I turn off the ignition. You lucky b******s.
