Talking of Proper Hovis Haulers, I saw a bunch of pikeys on the move yesterday, just outside Bath, and one lot were towing their caravan behind a hearse! Had the whole minibus full of us in stitches... Unsual sideline- "do you want yer drive tarmac-ing or yer gran burying sorr?"

PS/edit: that Volvo is MINGING

So does it rise up like a Citroen BX when you start it or does it just fall apart at the first bump in the road?

I thought Civic TypeR's were the true bread vans?
think there's a touch of confusion here - Hovis = Brown-Bread = rhyming slang for dead, in allusion to Volvo estates resemblance to hearses: spot the difference...

A standard Volvo estate:

:rofl:There was me thinking that bournemouth was full of ex cocks.

The thing is, we all get to ride the hovis hauler one day, so maybe you could start a brown bread parlour bb, good money in it.
