Qobuz track skipping

I've been using Qobuz via the app/plugin in LMS - streamed via a R-Pi4 - and am finding that occasionally in the middle of a track it will skip to the next one. Anyone else come across this and found a fix?

Try Settings > Advanced > Streaming mode for HTTP(S) > select from the dropdown, click Apply

Someone has said it could be buffer size related not sure if that's the same solution?

Which settings? I don't see that sequence in the player settings (using Material Skin)

Seems to be consistent in tracks that have quiet passages so I'm thinking it is to do with detecting end of track/suppressing inter-track gaps. For example, on the first track of "The Complete in a Silent Way Sessions" (Mademoiselle Mabry) it skips at around 6 minutes in to the track.

At the moment I have the player set for "No Fade".

On LMS if you do not want gapless then under player settings - audio which under extra settings you need to set crossfade to None . Sorry if this is what you are already saying but just checked my settings and this is how it appears .

Yes, cross-fade is set to none. I suspect this may be Qobuz rather than LMS

Honest!! I miss a simple word like "Network" out of the string and people complain. Where's me white stick?

There have been problems with Qobuz, I had quite a few. Others found the issue was due to the router and server, everyone who switched to either Google or Cloudflare no longer had any problems, not sure yours is the same issue.

I do not get this with my Raspberry Pi using MoOde, but I do get this with my Nord easystream using Qobuz.

The Nord ( I think) uses the vim board, and a Khadas tone board for the dac.

There is also a Third Party Plugin called Reliable HTTP (by Philippe) but I have never used it.

The one I have referenced seems to be used by folk with LMS / Qobuz problems

Thanks Ronnie. I wasn't being entirely daft - not having updated LMS for some while, the options available in my version didn't include the Streaming Mode...etc. options. Having updated to the latest V8.4 I can now see that option and have a play.

Of course, having updated the LMS software, and not having changed anything else, it no longer skips (on that track, at least). So that would seem to be a win.
