I've enjoyed every minute with these. They can do things like no other speaker.
Unlike the early esl these can produce bass. Tight fast and tuneful. I'd say they are unrivalled in the mids and top unless you spend a LOT of money.
Condition wise these are excellent. Mechanically they are flawless.
Offered among you lovely folk for the daft bargain price of £1400.
Collection or meet up is a must. I'm located north of Nottingham and south of Sheffield near the m1/a1.

Where they are in the picture is where I've been using them, and with a lot of success. They are very capable speakers.

I have a pair of the larger 2905s and they are less than 4 inches from the side walls and that suits them very well.

To reiterate Wizmax above (as I have 2905s in similar positions), proximity to side walls is irrelevant but advisable to have 3 feet or so behind. Dipoles need rear space. Lovely speakers (but I would say that, wouldn't I?)

I've had these working well a foot off the back wall which is pretty much the length of the base. It's not set in stone where they work.

heard these at Rick's a few times. really nice speakers that you can listen to for hours with ease. despite their size they disappear nicely and do everything a speaker should!

bit surprised they're going to be honest. but Rick is Rick.... somebody will be very happy with these speakers at the price!
