Another classic LP12 brought back to life. This is an example from 1979 with a later black liner pre-Cirkus bearing and glued sub-chassis with its period Nirvana and Valhalla upgrades. The Valhalla is a recently refurbished class A board, the arm is a Linn Basik+ in fine fettle and paired with a NOS AT95e cartridge. The plinth is in great condition and needed nothing more than a clean with IPA, a feed with lemon oil and buff with some wax. The excellent lid has been machine polished to a nice bright shine. All in all a super nice classic entry level LP12.
It was a real pleasure to service and work on this one because it didn’t really put up a fight and it set up quite easily.
