Been having a bit of a buying spree of late, as I've been updating some of the collection and also doing what I love, which is to find things on Qobuz and then buy the LP or CD.

Latest arrival today. Not possibly my usual fare, but loving it...

I bought my first CD from a record store for the first time in over 2 years today. Going into town on another matter I was passing by Fopp Records so called in for a few minutes to see if they had any bargains on offer like they used to. First thing that struck me was how expensive new CDs had become. Some of the pricing was bizarre. The latest Jethro Tull album was only £9 yet some really old 70's Tull albums were around the £13/£15 mark. No wonder people shop online these days. As for Vinyl, I'm so glad I'm out of that game these days. The new Van Morrison LP was £28, Jesus!"

Anyway I managed to pick up this CD for £4 as a curiosity. Half instrumentals, half featuring Lucinda Williams , I'm actually enjoying the Jazzy instrumentals far more than the Lucinda Williams songs which surprised me...

I read a review of the new Van Morrison LP. It wasn't complimentary.

Is there anything remotely Proggy that's not re-mixed by Steven Wilson these days?
The remixes on the Van der Graaf Generator box set aren't Steven Wilson ones. On the other side of the coin Wilson has remixed a couple of Tears for Fears albums, I wouldn't call them proggy.
