A Musical Fidelity A5 & KW500 controlled my CDM 1NTs with a vice grip and they'd take whatever you threw at them without any harshness. They loved power up 'em!

Also heard them on a Cyrus pre / power - again, no harshness.

I think the question is which Bw's
I had 683 for a while used a Denon 1911 which was nice
than a nad 365 replaced the fronts on the denon with 685 shelf speakers

after that I used the 683 with my AMS those speakers where extremely easy an believe it or not you have to be more care full with the little brother the 685 that I still have an use every day an I'm happy with them
I also demoed the m683 with a musical fidelity m6 which back then almost made me buy the m6 (as I already had the 683's) if I hadn't hear the AMS 2days later

I used an Audio Analogue Puccini SE (the original model) initially with 602s, and then with CDM1se - an excellent match in both cases - MH

Well guess they ar not all power hungry
But I was astonished the 707s2 had a sensitivity of 84 db
In a way ( theoretically) it’s undesirable bud you need av125w / channel to drive that properly I think
So that senergy also depends of which B&W speaker

Every B&W I tested with Musical Fidelity ( different models ) worked for me

Many moons ago I had B&W 805S with Simaudio Moon i-5 and this was an excellent pairing. Smooth and resolving (with a Meridian cd player).

I also had a 2nd system with a Marantz CD6000 KI Signature cd player, Harman Kardon HK630 amp and B&W DM303 speakers. Excellent synergy, gave a punchy and warm sound.

Decades ago I also used to have B&W DM603s2 which were driven by a Sony ES AV amp (ok) and a Rotel RB-991 power amp with a Tag McLaren pre-amp (much better - fantastic bass).

The last time I was buying speakers, I had the 705S2 on my list - without doubt the best sounding top end of all the speakers I listened to. In the end, the KEF were the better all-round performer, and I have always been 100% happy with my decision.

During the buying process, I heard the B&Ws on the end of Primare and Marantz amplification. I would recommend either without hesitation.
