The LP12 Selekt could be above the Akurate with the new cartridge and arm.Not looking good for Akurate, as a range.
MajikMM (Adikt), MajikMC (Koil), Selekt (Arko + Krystal or Kendo), Klimax(EkosSE + Kandid or Exstatik)

perhaps, the AT-OC9XML stylus profile with "nude Microlinear stylus and boron cantilever"The Koil (c£800) and is clearly a derivative of the ATOC9 (with some Linn tax on top). Given how good the latest OC9's are then it might be good value, depending on which stylus profile is used.
I agree, although Linndocs still describes the new combination as the Akurate LP12 (updated earlier today)I think the Accurate level LP12 is dropped for a new Selekt spec LP12, presumably with the new tonearm.
Kazoo is a piece of Krap!,Minimserver is a far superior program...just sayin'.So, is that cheaper than the current Klimax LP12? I would rather have a Kazoo update so that I can listen to Linn Radio!
Kazoo is a Control Point. Minimserver is a music, erm, server. Not sure I understand your comparison.Kazoo is a piece of Krap!,Minimserver is a far superior program...just sayin'.
Be interesting to hear a Kendo vs a Kandid in an EkosSE.Linn Kendo MC cartridge at $3640. Made to Linn's design by EMT and trickle down of the technology from the Ekstatik. Obviously the looks are very similar. The Kendo is a bit heavier lacking the honeycomb machining on the top of the body and has a boron cantilever with fine line stylus. It still features the bronze/aluminum threaded inserts for three point mounting and Linn claims that the Ekstatik and Kendo have the flattest frequency response of any cartridges Linn have made with no emphasis of any range.
Was just thinking the same.Be interesting to hear a Kendo vs a Kandid in an EkosSE.

Wow! Do the dealers get to keep the traded-in Lingos? If so, potentially higher trade-in value.7) Linn is also offering a trade in on Lingos towards the standard chassis Radikal of $650. This is for any Lingo so it is quite a good deal for Lingo 1 owners.
Wow, that's twice the price of the previous "Majik" arms.4) The Linn Krane tonearm is now available separately for $1755. I was informed that Linn is going to be bringing at least some of manufacturing of the Krane in house under license as Clearaudio is unable to make the number Linn needs to sell it separately.
Certainly makes the packaged Majik LP12 seem like a really good deal.Wow, that's twice the price of the previous "Majik" arms.
Absolutely. That's why I decided on a Majik kit.Certainly makes the packaged Majik LP12 seem like a really good deal.
It would indeed.Be interesting to hear a Kendo vs a Kandid in an EkosSE.

I haven't seen the full trade-in information yet but I would expect so based on previous similar programs.Wow! Do the dealers get to keep the traded-in Lingos? If so, potentially higher trade-in value.
