I see, thanks, a few of those I even like  9_9 . A few I don't know, such as John McCleary and Lee Harvey Osmond.

So no hard rock or heavy metal?

This time there was no heavy stuff. I think the closest we got was some Marcus Miller.

There is always an open invitation to bring whatever you like. I want to be introduced to new to me music.

No, it had a truck side mirror.

I’m pretty sure the track we played was the title track - Roadhouses and Automobiles
Yes that's the one, I thought that is why you used it, they say if you can't hear the crickets in the background you need to upgrade your hifi.

Does not have to be heavy but some cymbal bashing is a good test. I would prefer a wider selection.

It was a day of testing but we had great pleasure as well enjoying food, good comerady, all music brought and Ians great sounding system. Believe me the selection of music was vary varied, we may not have listed it all, but it was what the attendees wanted to play on the day. Cymbals are good.  :^

By wide I meant different genres such as classical, jazz (non vocal), rock etc.

I heard a classical track but don't know what it was. There was rock available in Ian's collection if people wanted to hear it and I brought this album ( vocal and non vocal) which I thought was good and it was played. It was very much a laid back affair with people playing what they wanted to hear and what they brought along with them from their own private home collections. I can only reiterate again, all the dacs were great, the price ranges varied quite a bit, but I think Ian covered that quite well in his summary.
