EAR Amp

Hello Wammers, looking for an EAR amp to drive my Tannoys. Thinking of a 534, 834, 8L6, 890 or 899. 

Does anybody have one?

Thanks, that's a nice looking amp. Not sure about the 15 watts, the HPDs aren't that sensitive.

The 859 is 13W and the 869 is 15w, had both and the 869se is very much the better amp. Not sure it's what you are looking for with the Tannoy's though.  If you are near me you can borrow my 869se to see.

Thanks guys, particularly for the offer of a loaner. I need 30 watts minimum I think as the HPDs in the sealed cabs I have aren't massively efficient. My guess is about 90dB.

That 859 is a cheap amp at that price.

I've something heading this way in a couple of weeks time and until I've heard it I won't be doing any more looking for now.

Just for your info, the 861 is 35 watts.
