Can't you get a freeview box? I recently got one from tesco's for £25 and it now gives me C5 (not that I usually watch it) but also Film4, Beeb3 & 4 and lots of other rubbish!

It's not at all clear that we can get Freeview where we live either: no broadband (despite what the telcos say!); no mains gas; no C5; thankfully no DAB; and all this 25 miles north of Newcastle!

I stand corrected Boxer, but I know he's a fan of the Barcodes. Regarding the cricket whether we like it or not Sky is de rigeur nowadays for the serious sportsfan. They have 2 hours of highlights tonight at 8pm.

Channel 5 are only showing half an hour and that will be interupted for some adverts and 5 minutes will be wasted for the preamble.

I'm not saying it's right but I pay £42.00 per month and get all Sky sports, I wouldn't be able to take my boy to a Premier League game for £42.00.

Surely for this one no brain is needed. Bat to a massive first innings total and then try to bowl them out for an innings win.
