Easy, system wise the best sounding combination of components you've got, plus some more if you want to change things over the weekend.

Music, as much as you can, it's easier if you're file based, and if streaming then preferably HD quality (real HD not the Amazon definition [emoji38])

As mentioned in another thread, plenty of extension leads and power strips - you can't rely on the sockets in the room being where you need them to be.

Worth bearing in mind that unless you have made arrangements for a room sitter, you may not be able to escape your room from start to finish on the Sunday, so a stock of fluids (with or without alcohol) and something for lunch is always a good plan!

And remember that beds and cupboards will probably need to be moved. Don't struggle, just accost someone who doesn't seem to be doing anything (the bar is a good place to start) and ask for help. Seriously, everyone will be pleased to help.

And if you don't want to be bothered by someone asking for help, walk briskly around with a clipboard and a harassed look on your face :D

I know I've heard long wave radio sound better than what Amazon put out, I hate it! The interface and lyrics thing is quite good, but SQ :nup: And unfortunately my daughter loves Amazon Music so Dad 'very' reluctantly pays for a subscription.

Fuses. Particularly if your kit uses internal fuses (as well as fused plugs), make sure you have some spares and the necessary kit (screwdriver, lump hammer...etc) to crack the boxes open to replace said fuses - they are often mounted in PCB sockets.

I'm in the middle of building power supplies. I've given RS's profits a bit of a boost in the fuse department today thanks to trying to rush things

My new phono power supply has quantum non-entaglement. I fix one issue and another appears in synchronisation. I'm reverting to Mk 1 for some listening and giving up for the night. At least the 845 is behaving itself now it's had some TLC.

I would also advise against using Heisenberg fuses as you can never be certain if they are in your amp or elsewhere.

Similarly some say Einstein fuses are the best .....but I think it's all relative

......I'll get my coat
