I‘m so utterly pissed off, had a nightmare 3 months after an internal flood and the subsequent fun and games with the insurers and the house being partially wrecked. So after a Hellish week with new carpet being fitted, moving 1000 plus records and even more books etc and new shelving for the records, everything finally back in place, system carefully set up and a cold beer waiting - turn the amp on and no power.
Ive checked the power lead and that works with the 851n so it’s not that, i did find that the plastic peg thing at the bottom of one of the 5U4G valves is missing (so just a hole) could that be the problem? Forgive my ignorance on these things.
I‘m really gutted about this, was so looking forward to getting back to some serious listening after months of shit and chaos.
