I know it, Tetford was a favourite of mine, had lunch on Tetford hill, nice view from there. Some good walks around there. Bluestone Heath road is a good drive.
Thanks for the tip. When I think of the number of years I've lived in Lincolnshire and driven up the A153 to Cadwell Park (to watch the bike racing) it's daft that I haven't explored the Wolds themselves. I know the mountains of the Lake District better than an area just 30 mins' drive away.

Love Lake Como. Have been a few times over the years staying in Como itself and spending time criss crossing the Lake on the ferries. Wonderful part of the world.
Totally this. :)

We've been twice now, travelled down there on my bike whilst touring eastern France and Switzerland etc. Both times we stopped in Menaggio at the Grand Hotel with its beautiful views across the Lake to Varenna and Bellagio.

On the ferry from Menaggio to Varenna in Summer 2001...

Messing around with the 24-70 f4's macro thingy - as a walk-around 'every day' lens I'm not finding it particularly special (its build quality is not on the same planet as the 70-200 2.8L for example) and it does suffer quite a bit of RSA. However, the macro function is rather clever, and very useful...
