For sale is my Audion Sterling valve amplifier in excellent condition (just one small mark as shown on the photos). It’s been sat in it’s box for too long to justify keeping it and I’ve been spending on new kit recently and have a credit card bill which needs to be chipped away at! It’s fully boxed with original paperwork etc. Valves are 2 x Svetlana EL34 (winged C), Sylvania ecc88, and RCA 5687. I bought it from a friend when he upgraded, as I had always loved Audion amps (from the days I worked in the hifi business and sold them) but never really found a use for it.
It’s a one input power amp with a volume control, but can be used with a preamp with the volume on full (or internally bypassed if you wanted to do so). I’ve had it on to test it for a few days and it’s sounding great, and does also sound better IMO with a decent preamp (well, with my icOn4 AVC anyway!) Its rated at 12w per channel but is surprisingly powerful and has plenty of drive and a very open and sweet midrange.
I would prefer collection or meet up if possible, but I can also ship if required at cost. £400

I doubt if you could get a better valve amp for this sort of money.
