Well Papa has kindly agreed to brink his new Esoteric around to my humble abode next Saturday to have a listen. Really looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll have my new amps by then too.

If anyone else is interested in coming, you'd be more than welcome. Probably 5 or 6 is the maximum number because of the size of the room but given the short notice I expect you're all busy.

There's a good curry house5 mins walk away for those interested.

Planned kick off is around 2 to 2.30.

What Neats have you got - last time I looked it was Spendors ?

Yep, Adam, a recent change. The S5es wereexcellent speakers but ultimately just didn't quite do it for me, so I chopped them in for a lovelypair of Neat Motive 2 floorstanders, which I had borrowed for a home dem (and subsequently kept!).

You said the magic words and I may be able to come along (curry house etc) I could bring along the A/Note + WAD amp (lovely valves) or a Audiozone T1/AMP2 chip amp depending it we need to warm the house or not

no other valves as far as I can see so might be a good comparison.
