Another question from me.

Playing around here and have connected the NAD C368's pre-out to a Schiit Aegir for one set of speakers, meanwhile have the NAD 's speaker A outputs connected to another set of speakers in another room.

Voila, it works, both speakers play independently or at the same time - selected via turning on or off the Aegir, or turning speaker A output on or off on the NAD. Seems ti sound fine too.

Can the pre really run both both power amps simultaneously, or is there issues I may be missing here? Do all integrated amps with pre-out work in this way?

I don't see why they shouldn't, several Pres' have twin outputs for stereo bi-amping. Also several years ago (think arcam Alpha) bi-a ping was achieved with an integrated and PA (Alpha 8 + 8P anyone?). I've run my MFA into my IA MB845SEs (RCA) and Nords (xlr) simultaneously without issue.
