Dac replacement

Looking for a dac to replace my Abrahamsen V6, require i2s, 3 coax & toslink, usb not important, xlr out put necessary.

Upto £1500, new or secondhand, will consider pre/dac combo.

So from your experiences what would you recommend i take a listen to.

The Chord Qute HD has been very well reviewed and IFRC is about £1000.

If I were you I would have a look at the Jolida Dac thats been modded by Modwright, the Dac on its own is excellent value for money but with the mods done then it could be at another level. Give Jack a call at BD audio he may be able to help you out

If I was starting again I would look at the Oppo 105 and spend the saving on speakers.
