However there don’t appear to be any HiFi streamers on the market that support BBC Sounds directly, also TuneIn etc no longer have access to BBC Sounds
For reasons I don’t fully understand, TuneIn still works with a few apps like my Linn one. 320kps here on Radio 3, Linn Classical and others. Lower 128kps on the likes of Radio 4 though.

LMS works directly with BBC Sounds as plug and Amazon Cube lets you add the BBC Sounds App as well so must be possible . Does the BlueOS not support BBC Sounds ?

If you have an ipad then you can stream sounds via airplay to a node (or any other airplay device) at whatever max airplay currently supports.

If you use Material Skin on LMS then in the settings you can set that the details of all the music is shown in the right hand bottom corner . Using the BBCSounds plug in it shows 320 for all channels .

If you use the BBC sounds app and stream it directly (I use a Node2i) I’m pretty sure it’s 320. Very easy app to use plus you can play all the previous shows. It sounds noticeably better than Spotify streamed directly via the app.
