Haven't a clue, so can't explain but in my own experience you can get a lot cheaper cables that sound a lot better than the QED. True the cables is a conductor and should not add anything to sound signal i suppose they take away too much from the sound. The idea that QED SA is somehow terrible is a hi-fi urban myth. How on earth can it be terrible? Why is it terrible? What are the mechanisms that make it terrible?
See? Not one answer to those questions.

Second that ! Nothing wrong with that cable. The idea that QED SA is somehow terrible is a hi-fi urban myth. How on earth can it be terrible? Why is it terrible? What are the mechanisms that make it terrible?
